I was born and raised in Tacoma, WA. After the age of 17 I wanted to venture out of the ol’ stomping ground.
In 2001, I moved to San Diego and began doing art as a career.
I worked for a conservation studio repairing vintage posters from the 1890’s to the 1980’s.
This job was inspiring for me as an artist.
In 2003, I moved to Miami,Florida to be closer to my Cuban family, to absorb the culture and work on my paintings.
After a few years in Miami I moved back to Washington. I lived in Seattle for a few years and then moved to Bellingham .
